To build and reinforce Solu’s early to mid-funnel activity, driving global engagement and significantly expanding our visibility in the microbial genomics space. You’ll create momentum behind our mission to prevent epidemics with genomics — one tweet, one collab, and one curious user at a time.
You’ll operate with courage, curiosity, and speed — turning visibility into real usage and scientific impact.
Communication:
You speak and write with clarity, confidence, and care — especially when simplifying complex science. You know how to make people pay attention.
How we’ll know: You can get someone in public health or a research lab genuinely curious about Solu.
Scientific Knowledge & Curiosity:
You don’t need a PhD — but you should be able to follow (after a short ramp up) a conversation about genes, resistance, or phylogenetic trees. You love learning and can confidently explain Solu’s value.
How we’ll know: You ask good questions, and can talk basic biology after a short ramp-up.
Company-Level Thinking:
You work in sync with the broader strategy and goals. You don’t need micro-managing — you seek alignment, then move.
How we’ll know: You initiate things that match our company’s moment and momentum.
Independent Decision-Making & Bias to Action:
You make bold, fast calls with limited input. You experiment, reflect, and adjust. You don’t wait for a perfect plan.
How we’ll know: You show momentum early — and keep building.
Creativity & Courage:
You bring new ideas to conferences, social channels, and outreach — and you have the guts to try things that might not work yet.
How we’ll know: You turn a scientific concept into something people want to share.
